Hanging Connector & Wire

Would someone please look under their 01 L. and tell me if you see a hanging wire and connector just behind the drivers fog light. I noticed a two wire female connector just hanging there. I took it to the dealer and they said it was something that would have went on the standard F-150??
Looks a little like the connector for the horns, but they are on the pass. side. Sure would like to know if something is disconnected, but everything works. Just take a look. If it's like mine, you'll see it. By the way, I was under the truck changing the oil. It's strange how that paint can sound comes alive when the new oil is put in. Someone said it best when they said "Didn't sound that way when I bought it"......

Is it a plug with 2 orange wires in it and about 6 to 8 inch's long with a black wire loom around it. Nope I haven't seen it. Na really there is a dummy plug just above the hole that those wires come out of and it plugs into it. Doesn't look like they do anything.

Wires

Actually I was talking about the two 12 inch red & purple wires....LOL!! Thanks for the info. Still wonder what it was for. Thanks again. I knew someone would bend over and look. Got to stop looking under there. Never know what you'l find. I did find one thing out though...Being a little older and a little bigger, it's hard to fit under there.......gary
