First quarter mile timeslip
Hello to all :
Just wanted to let everyone know I finally got my first quarter mile timeslip with the new Lightning. 13.7@100.4mph Woweee.
Bad reaction time though (hey I'm old !). I am so impressed and proud .
Did some slalom racing and lap racing also at this SVT-on track event at Cayuga. What a blast. 6 Lightnings, 17 Cobras and 1 SVT Contour.
The Lightnings handling is awesome. This truck is awesome.

If you think she handles good now, drop it about 3 inches and you'll be amazed at what the truck can do then.
Now it begins, another L owner who will get hooked on a crazy a$$ truck that runs ***** out.

HI!... MDSBORT : Where are you in WINDSOR? I'm from WINDSOR as well. A buch of us F-150er's hang out at ELIAS fruit market parking lot on the weekend. Right across from KENNEDY HIGH SCHOOL. Pop in sometime and say "HI" and let me check out your ride.

Was great meeting you on Saturday. Ya, I'd say you've been bitten by the bug. These trucks really are impressive.
The best run I could muster was a 13.09 @ 105.5. My best mph run was a 107.8. Was disappointed not to make it into the 12's, but hey, drag racing after hot lapping a very long road course is not the best preparation for e.t.'s.
