Boring A 5.4

I AM NEW AT THIS AND WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE KNOWS IF THERE IS A COMPANY THAT MAKES OVERSIZED PISTONS FOR A 5.4? I WANT TO BORE MY 5.4 AT LEAST 30 OVER. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

Ford makes .020 over pistons for the 5.4 Lightning.

They also strongly discourage .030 and bigger because the walls are too thin.

Thats what I've heard from D.S.S.

I think the only real area for increase in displacment would be a stroker kit? I've pondered that tought, but If anything just rebuild with better pistons, rods, bolts, ....... and then boost the hell out it.

Those mustang guys are running 30 psi with a 306 and getting 750 to 800 hp. So we should be able to if not more. We just need a really big eaton

The 5.4 is a stroked 4.6, isn't it?

I don't know how much stroking one of these can take as we're already breaking rods.
