Good News / Bad News

The good news is "The motor runs good"

The bad news is "The dif may be toast""

 

Reminds of an event in Perry, GA. They had a 360 that had to be made. I was in my '99 Cobra with some slick street tires. The announcer was in a booth and couldn't see me. I hit the 360 and smoked them all the way around. He started over the PA " There's the '99 Cobra, I can't see him but I can hear him making a POWER STATEMENT!" I gotta start autoxing again.

 

Heheh, yeah, its definately alot of fun and I get alot of compilments for running my truck...everyone seems to enjoy watching me go around the track.

Dreamin' -- At this club, the novice class becomes its own index, so all novice modified vehicles get indexed together, so I techincally ran against some novice-ASP/SM/AM/etc vehicles. I got beat by an SM-novice class Cobra. He had coil-overs, etc.

I do have to say that doing Solo-2 autocross is one of the best ways to learn how your truck would handle in day to day driving.
