Question What do you use to clean the seats?

Since I drive my truck daily to work, my seats have become slightly soiled. I look in the stores for some leather cleaner, and they all say do not use on suede...........So, I'm stumped, how about a little help, thanks...............Phatford

Everybody relax. Sit DOWN!!!

Yo, Phat.

The seats aren't suede, they're cloth.
Blue Coral makes a great foam. Been using it for two years. Seats still look new. Be sure to use a cream leather conditioner on the black braided part.

Later,

Our seats are really cloth. They are not suede. Cheap of Ford 'eh? Not really, they look great if you ask me!

Get Blue Coral Dry Foam Cleaner at Wallyworld. Works great!

Actually, if you want to save some money, use what the cloths manufacturer says to use. Soap and water.

The cloth is called Alcantara. After washing, make sure you rinse all the soap out, let dry, then brush it afterward.

Rick spilled Coke on ours. It wiped right off without staining. He rinsed it with water for safety sake, and it looks great. Could never tell.

It is a really neat fabric that is being used by many upmarket auto manufacturers. Also is favored by the custom builders.

Gloria:

Thanks for the info but, there is 'soap' and there is 'soap'. What kind--dish, hand, powder, etc.

Whenever I take friends out for the first time in my truck, somehow my passenger seat always ends up slightly soiled.

While filling out my tech. card at the strip last weekend I
found myslef writing on top or the console lid, and as things
usually go, I stuck the pen through the card and wrote on the
fabric.
I went to my local K-Mart and bought a can of Tuff-Stuff upholstery
foam , and using a tooth brush, managed to remove all the ink.
Very inexpensive, and very good. I recommend it for any soiled
seats,

Marc

Thumbs up

I went with Tampa's advice as well, and picked up some Blue Coral dry clean the other day. Works like a charm...!
