I know others have posted about power gains with the new I/C replacement but I thought my observations should be posted.
Before I took the L to the dealer for repairs, I removed the go-fast parts. Got it back the same day and noticed the "Service Engine Soon" light was on and there was no particular improvement in performance since an unmodded L is slower than a modded L.
Today I put the chip and filter back on and noticed the "Service Engine Soon" light went out and the truck ran smoother. Took it out on a lonely street and floored it. There was a dramatic improvement in performance. I also noticed alot more tire smoke than usual. The truck seems to respond faster and hits boost quicker. I am wondering if a chip reburn is in order.
Recommend that if your I/C is leaking, get it replaced soon. Good luck.
