Looks Great Rob!
Did you notice any performance difference from it?
How much will this setup run, if you don't mind?

Thanks

That's the best setup I've seen yet. I always wanted a 68-69' Cobra Jet Mustang with a shaker.

Nice!

J Man,

If there's anything you need you just let me know. Club help, Truck help or beer help !!!

Pro-Finish makes another F-150 hood with similar ducting on the underside and that's been tested to flow over1,300 cfm !!! That is not restrictive. With the sealed air box in place I know my truck will pick up another tenth and it should be even more in the summer time as the filter won't be sucking in hot under hood air.
Yesterday at the track my mph was up by .7 and it stayed consistent even during eliminations. In eliminations I first ran a 12.81 and backed it up with a 12.79 15 minutes later. The truck never ran that well hot, it usually lost a tenth so I think the shaker worked out well.

Leave it to rob to do something wild and different.

You know I didn't thin the orange would look good, but that looks killer rob. You got good taste and good idea's all the time. I'm scared to ask you how much cash you have into your baby now.

Its sick to think that you could have a Viper with all the money in your L

Oh well, Lifes great huh.

Do you buy the whole hood or do they just cut out the old one. That would look sweet on an aftermarket hood!!!!!!

I just called out place that makes the shaker hood set up, it comes with a new hood. They are working on some sort of air box to mount flush with the underside of the hood. Total price was like $875.

Looks even better close up! For those that have not seen Robs' Truck it is awesome and immaculate. Another First Class example of what the Lightning Guys can Do.

That is pretty trick. I'd be interested in something like that for my truck if a group purchase materializes out of this....

I know I'm a lowly XLT driver, but I'd love to get in on a group buy if possible,,,,98
