Im looking for a good dealer that wont bust my chops regarding my engine mods etc,The only one I went to so far said if I do anything except a cat back or airfilter they were going to void my warranty.I have been told of some that were ok with some modifications but I dont know of any.Thanks in advance for any information.

 

If you go to Tower Shops in Davie on Friday Nights, you'll run across the Local Lightning Club. They will be able to steer you in the right direction.

Tower Shops car/truck show/hangout is EVERY Friday night 7-10pm. There's usually anywhere from 5-14 L's. Along with 300 or so "other" 50-60s Muscle Cars and Late Model Vettes, Vipers, PT Cruisers, Mustangs...ect.

I'd tell ya, but I can't remember which dealer it was they mentioned. I think it was Plantation Ford, but I'm NOT sure!

I would highly recommend Maroone Ford on US1 in Ft Laud. I live a few blocks from Sawgrass Ford, but Maroone is so good that I take the time to go there instead. The service manager has a highly modded red 00 L that he parks in front of the shop and he is very laid back about mods. But...I wouldn't leave a chip in just to be on the safe side. They have done all the work I've needed the SAME DAY....every time.
As I wrote in another post this week...they just did my intercooler recall and wiper motor...and threw in a new driveshaft just to be safe, as some others were having problems with theirs. I was really happy to find a good dealership after having gone through hell with my 99 Cobra at another dealer. Just my .02 cents!
