Where can I find shift rattle info??

Under any kind of accelration when the truck shifts I get a real loud rattle. Its more prominent with the 1-2 and 2-3rd. It used to go away when the engine temp got to normal, but now it seems it is not going away at all. I do have the PSP chip, and only really started noticing it when I installed it.

Thanks!

Start with the exhaust rattle threads. Lots of folks had exhaust rattles. It starts infrequent then is common at all rpms. I had both cat and muffler replaced ofr rattles

I know back in 99 I had a loose heat shield under the truck that caused a rattle during high RPM's. Hope this helps

That was the same problem I had on my 2000 at about 3200 rpms. The dealership replaced the motor. That sure fixed it

exact same problem, only showed up lately, when the morning temp got below 50 for the first 10 minutes of driving the 1-2 seemed to hold longer and sound just like that. i poked around down there with the motor running and exhaust and heat shields seem not to be making the noise, i figured it was the chip havent pulled yet to see if it changes anything, also if i put my ear close to the bell housing while running seem like a funny sound them to, havent meet up with other L's to see if they sound the same. i was thinking the trans was slipping and id have a new one soon....
