Just got home. I didn't race since my truck is running on 7 cylinders.
There were about 15 Lightnings there. I'm pretty sure JL had the fastest Gen II he got a 12.1xx . I took some pics and will post some tomorrow.
JL broke out in the second round of eliminations.

Hey Spiro, I blew the motor on my first pass and limped to a 12.86@ 106.82 ....My lower end knocks like crazy!! I'm stuck in driving another rental again, Urgh....

Johnny went 12.11 in the heat and broke out later Sunday. Johnny would have won the title if he hit the brakes earlier.. He went 12.40 @102 on the brakes...

All the national records were broke this weekend!! The weather was perfect. Steve Grebeck went 6.74@210 in pro 50 . Take Care-Neil

red gen,

Tell me about....I wish I could have made it there I was almost ready to take a plane ride out, and hitch a ride back.

Neil,
Damn...I am sorry about the truck. Just when you rush to get it together, this happens to it. Keep us posted on what caused it.

As for Steve Grebek...what else did you expect LOL

JL @ NMRA B.G. 2001

DL @ NMRA B.G. 2001

DL & easterisland with what could have been the fastest 7 cylinder lightning.

I'll post some others as soon as I get some pictures developed.

Johnny may have pulled a 12:1? but I don't understand why it only happens once and can never back it up? I ran 12:9's all weekend on a trans that had no line pressure and we had the converter not locking up. HMMMMMM I don't understand it? Also there was a Black 99 with superchips down the side that ran 12:32 in Qualifying.

Boozy the troll,

As these trucks get faster, it's harder to get them to 60ft using the 26 inch tires we are limited to. Because of the short sidewalls, these tires can't absorb the shock of a powerfull truck launching on a converter. So it's harder to get trucks like Johns, mine, or any other 11 or low 12 second truck to consistantly hook up.

I wasn't at BG, but I was told that the 12.30 superchips truck was a nitrous truck. Just what I was told.

WELCOME BACK LOSER, TROLL, OR WHATEVER ELSE YOUR NAME MAY BE TODAY. SINCE YOU CONTINUE TO KNOW SO MUCH ABOUT ALL OF US HERE, WHY CANT WE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT YOU? ARE YOU THAT MUCH OF A COWARD THAT YOU FEEL THE NEED TO CONTINUE CHANGING YOUR NAME AND "TRY" TO START THINGS AROUND HERE...WHAT A WIMP YOU MUST BE!!

OH..NICE TO HEAR THAT YOUR TRUCK WAS RUNNING SO POORLY WITH PROBLEMS. MAYBE A CALL TO A REPUTABLE SUPERCHIPS MODEM DEALER WILL SOLVE THE CURRENT PROBLEM YOU ARE HAVING WITH YOUR TRANNY. HOPE THIS HELPS

BoozyTheClown,

I raced the Superchips truck in the First round of eliminations on Sun at BG...

Yes , the Superchips truck was spraying....He beat me running a 12.752 @92.98, as you can see, he had to slow down at the end... I also saw the Superchip truck dial in at 12.27 on Sat...

JL has timeslips to back up his runs...Your lip service is funny....

The track was difficult to hook up on, It's that raw power that makes it hard to be real consistent.

Some like you, run consistent high numbers because you don't have as much power to control as others do..
