I personally stood and watched JL crank off a 12.11 last Fri morning. I don't think there is a "non - laughing gas", Gen II Lightning anywhere, that can match that. If there is, then he or she should bring that bad boy to a NMRA race and prove it. Most chip/filtered "L's" can run low 12's consistently with a $400.00 Compucar kit. Big deal

Ok gang I'll explain myself. One, I had to change my converter from a lock up to a non lockup for the race due to no line pressure. Because of this, the trans in my truck slipped the whole way down the track resulting in no ET. Yes yes, I'm such a looser but yet I've showed to all but one race this year in NMRA. Where you clowns at? All I asked was why He can't back it up? I wanted to ask John myself but he left before i could get over there. Also I see all these trucks making around the same power I am with blower pully's. I have the stock pully's on mine. Now maybe if you did a bit of research you would know what happens to the internals of these blowers with the pully's on! No I'm not hidding from anybody, This is the second time I've ever posted on this board and it must be someone else who switches names. so if you have something to say I WILL give you my email if you want or even my # if you have something to say! Also Sal, I talked to you briefly at the hotel that we stayed at for Atco. So you now should no who I am. And one last thing. If you want to see some trick pieces on a truck maybe you should have looked at my truck.

It's kinda funny Boozy....
JL was at the BG track from 7:15 AM to at least 7:00PM Fri and Sat. and Sun. from 7:15 AM to around 4:00 pm, yet you didn't have time to talk to him... There was plenty of L's parked together and I'm sure you were invited to park with everyone...

So here it goes......................... Boozer posted a question. He didnt say bs or flame anyone in particular, he just wondered why L's times arent consistent and are not in his words backed up.
what bothers me is the person in the above quotes calling boozer a loser, troll, coward, and whimp. Is that how I would have been welcomed if I posted a similar question?
I met you Spiro at Cecil, and you seemed pretty cool. You were laughing and having a good time. Why do you have to be totally different here?
I may not know the full story about trolls, but I sure am glad that I waited a while before adding my .02 in some posts, I might have been called names and not welcomed..
Maybe I am missing out on something. If that is the case then I hope you all fill me in. Jason B

I don't fully understand your point! I wish we all as lightning owners could just put this "Tuner" "Parts" thing behind us! You and everyone else were welcome to come over and park with us! I don't care if superchips or any other stickers are all over your truck! hey if thats what you choose to run then be proud and fly thier banner high! that dosn't bother me at all! but what does is that this "Tuner" thing has put alot of us apart! Instead we as "Lightning Owners" should be together because of just that " Lightning Owners"! Not because of what banner we fly! Yes the reason i was having problems not running consitently in the low 12's was due to traction problems with these little e.t. streets.. which will soon be a thing of the past!
(Thanx Spiro) I also seen Jerry Green with Casper have some very Good results with Brand new! nitto drag radials! if any body knows how to launch these trucks and cut good lights its him! ive watched him all season cut AWSOME lights and have very good 60 fts. (consistently) Paul @ Pauls high performance does an Excellent Job working on his truck! my hats off to them! and yes they use the superchip! you see we all can get along regardless of what we choose to run in these trucks! i'm sure jerry and paul all know there always welcome to come over and have lunch ect. anytime! and they always made me feel the same way. that's what i call putting this "tuner Crap" aside! and just plain being decent to eachother! so i hope i answerd your ? "traction" was the problem! i tried to qualify around 12.40 but messed up and qaulified @ 12.6 which cost me the race and the championship! because i was to stupid not to get out of it earlier 12.48 @ 102 1.9? 60ft. with my 130# lid on and tailgate! if i would have ran it out the gate i'm sure we would have seen a 12.1 at that weight! i did run a 12.1 @ 111.8 "hot lapping it! and NO i'm not spraying! So please lets get along and if i can help in any way feel free to just ask and i promise i'll do my best to give you any help possible..

I took some advice from a friend of mine and joined this site, then I took some more advice from someone that works on my L and sat back and "listened" to what some of you have to say before posting my thoughts and feelings.

Listen...when people come to this board and directly imply certain things that only a few of us here know what they are trying to do, I will reply the way I did. AND I WAS NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT DID!!
Im not going to get into the political thing here, and try to explain what is what..its not my responsibility.
And if you noticed the last few days with SEVERAL threads, several different NEW screen names have attempted to stir things up with the tuners, and people NOT JUST ME knew what was going on, and a few KNEW the real reason behind it.
I am the jolly person you met at Cecil, and always will be, just ask anyone here that has met me face to face, and not the ones that have judged me by what a FEW like to think about me.
I am no different here than if you meet me in person. I hold nothing back. I WILL NOT act fake in front of anyone!!. I would simply tell you where you belong...just like I did at Cecil with one particular individual.

John, Thank you for answering my question. I found out about the run on Sun evening and by then you were gone. I wanted to congratulate you on the run because it was the fastest pass put down by a Gen 2 in NMRA. I will respond to DL first. I lost by three one thousands of a secound to Randy which I did three times this year. Now I will respond to Spiro. Shut your pie hole and speak when spoken to. If you have something to say to me I said I'd give you my# and then we will chat. If you want it Johnny has it as well. I've posted on here as little as possible because of this stuipidity. I'm not trying to start a thing. Yes I was invited to park by the rest of the Lightnings but I chose not to. I had alot of people with me and we decided to stay where we were. Also I do run a superchip and Paul from Pauls High Performance has my truck making alot of power but to bad my trans was shot for the race. I will be ready to go for next year and maybe some of you will get off the couch and go racing with us. I will have a cage in mine and ready to go well in the 11's. I have never trash talked anybody so don't start trash talking me! So untill next time.

Brandon, it was nice talking to you at Atco back at the hotel. I have to admit your post here did sound very "troublemaking" hence the defensive tone from myself and others. I know a lot of times people are just looking for legitemate answers to questions, but often thier posts don't come out "friendly".
