Question LoJack Alarm and Keypad Mod?

I had the lojack alarm system installed yesterday and was curious if anyone knew if I the keypad would disarm the alarm like the stock remotes will. I would think that it would, but I was just wondering if anyone here knew...

I have not installed the keypad just yet, I wanted to make sure that it worked before I did it.

thanks,

chris

My keypad was factory installed, so I'm not sure if that makes any difference or not. But mine does disarm the alarm when the code is input.

if u use your stock remote key pad to unlock the doors than yes the keypad mod will work for ya..

if not, u have to get a hold of the place that installed the lojack and see if the factory remote keyless entry was modified, if it wasnt then your still good to go with the keypad mod, and if i would put a aftermarket alarm in i would not change the integrity of the factory system, but everyone does it diffrent...

also just a test if u do use another remote keypad to disarm, try your stock pad and if it does unlock then u can do the mod with no problems..
