More Mods??

Just looking for some input .I have an '01 L with the following:PSP 4-way chip,PSP lower pulley,JL StageII ram air, magnaflow 12468.I have a small amount of cash to put into the truck.I'm torn between buying more mods for the truck or picking up some ET streets.I've only been to the track once,Had a great time ,but didn't do so well.100* nite best of 13.99 @ 101 mph with terrible 60' times[best of 2.38!]I know the truck is faster than this.I need more practice launching.Cooler weather is coming and that will also help.so here's the great debate;more mods that I will enjoy every time i drive the truck,or slicks so i can get the power i already have to the track??thx for the advice.-Dave.

Dave:

I had a similar dilemma. When you get cooler air you are going to blow the F1s right off the line--at least that's what happened to me. Very frustrating--tire traction slippage at the 1/8 mile marker! (I know, some guys are in the 12s with F1s--I don't know how though.) Soooo, you have to decide just how important those time slips are---they were/are important enough to me, so I got the ET Streets and ARE Baja wheels(JL's recommendation). Btw, what a 'good' problem/question to have?
