Hey Guys. What are You supposed to be looking for as regards major faults and potential failures on the 1999 model f150 lightning? I’m out to buy one and need a few pointers before please

Check the fluids first. Look at the bottom of the oil cap. See if you notice anything that has been neglected or modified.
Then check the suspension and drive line.
Being it a sports car (ok, ok, sports truck), it wouldn't hurt to hire a professional auto evaluator and have them give a look over. A lot of them will offer a money back (or even a repair) guarantee if it's junk if they OK it.
