LED Fog Light Bulbs in 2003 Lightning

I currently have 9005 Sylvania Silver Star bulbs in the fog lights.
Are the 9005 LED bulbs brighter? Would you recommend cool white or natural light. I do not want blue appearing lights. Thanks

I'm running BeamTech 6000k 9005's. They look pretty white to me, almost exactly the same as my BMW's OE LED fogs. I have BeamTechs in the headlights too, so its a perfect match.

Natural light. Cool white looks blue.

In my fog lights, I am using an LED which switches from daylight color to amber. You could also try installing an amber color lamp. No blue what-so-ever. Excuse the poor quality photography from the low grade cell phone camera. But you get the idea that your OEM fog light will effectively illuminate at least 100' in front of your truck. And that you will be able to choose between the daylight color (no blue), and amber (yellow).

Don't worry too much about the "brand name". Since most of the LED lamps in the market come from the same factories in China, with different brand name labels. See if the seller offers a warranty. Check to make sure that the seller is reputable, in the event that you actually need the warranty. Search Amazon, eBay, or Ali Baba for "dual color 9005 LED" or "amber 9005 LED".

I saw those when I was looking for bulbs. I'm not really a fan of the turn them off and back on to change colors, because having to explain that to buyers seems like it would just confuse them. If they had a separate switch on the dash to change colors it would be a lot easier, especially with Ford ridiculous fog light switch design that doesn't work in Auto.

I installed a separate wire run with a toggle switch on my dash. A bit of overkill. Not everyone will want to do that much work.
