Popularity of Lightning section is interesting...

Patrick just did a breakdown of the most popular sections of the site, and it's a fairly interesting read. Given how popular this section is, it makes me wonder if we could see a new version of the Lightning, based on the latest Ranger. What do you think? I think the a Ranger Raptor being available here is a done deal at this point.

Same with workhorse trucks... '08 was really the last year in terms of manual transmission, non-power windows and locks, etc.

I see some of the fleet trucks have more bells and whistles than my truck that get abused to all high hilt.

It's all about the bottom line.

Agreed. But a street truck would be a better mall crawler than a Raptor. And people buy those...

Ford is talking about offering the Twin Turbo Raptor engine in a regular F150, could be spunky but definitely not a Lightning.

Yes, the Raptor engine will be standard in the 2019 F-150 Limited. Crew cab and 5.5' bed is the only configuration, 2wd or 4wd.
