Lowering and frame clearance

I was thinking about lowering my truck with coils in the front. But by the looks of it theres about 1 1/2" to the bump stop and 2 inches to the frame. If i drop the front 2 inches I'll be siting on the frame right?

I dropped mine 1" with the hotchkis coils and they came with a new stop, but I didn't like it so the old one got cut down. If you lower 2" I would say your gonna have to either get a new stop or cut the old one.

There are a couple of guys who dropped about 2" in the front, do a search to find out what they did.

Regardless of the stop It looks like i'll be siting on frame. Has any one gone with a spindle?

No drop spindles available for our trucks that I know of. I have had no problems with the hotchkis coils. Go for the control arms if you are too concerned. Do not think it is possible to bottom the frame out. Don't think the coils will compress that far.

I've got 2 inch drop coils up front and no problems yet. Be sure to get the truck aligned afterward, though. You'll need to buy a cam bolt kit for that.

How much would it cost/what would it take to drop both the front & rear 1" ?? I dont know anything about lowering....but after seeing a white L in the area that was lowered, i'm halfway considering it...

CaptainO - do you have any pics of yours w/the 1" drop?

Thanks
Jacob
