Question on TSB for clunk noise & proper fix.
Hello all, I've only have my L for a week, but after reading some of the sad stories on the clunk noise yesterday, I went out and got uder it to make a full inspection. The good news is no lose bolts either on the swaybar or the lower A-arm. I did not see a washer on either the front or rear of the left side lower A arm.
Both the nut and the bolt have a flang all together. Though I do see how some of the frame wax could cause a problem.
Could some one from this geat web site send me a detailed picture of the area I should be looking at ? Also I looked in this webs side directory under TBS's and don't see a recall number for the star washer ( supossed fix ) from Ford. And can I see a picture of the Herb's washers ? Would like to hear from people who have used them, weither it fixed the noise or not.
Do both the upper and lower bolts control the camber ? Looks like the top ones are the cam bolts. Not sure. Thank you.

Herbs washers installed. Lube steering stops. Noise is GONE.
Screw the star washer garbage.
be sure to get the cam bolt kit from NAPA also ($22) compared to well over $100 from Furd.
