It was a good day at Cecil today!!

Well...I guess the weather could have been a bit cooler....

It was good seeing all the old and new faces...Spiro, JL, DL, JDM, Nuno, Kyle, Brian, Pawn, Jim Walls, JJ, Vince and all the other names I forgot to mention..

I saw a lot of new "Best" times for a lot of people..Thats awesome. Just think of better weather....

JL, thanks for the pies...

DL..Good 60's on those 20"ers......

BTW, my best in the "Bettina Mobile" was 13.9......I think with some chip tweaking theres a few tenths to be had.

I agree, good day indeed. Great folks out here Sorry I ran out so quick, but I needed to get back. I tried to track you down before I left, but you were all over the place today. LOL

Bettina's Stang is sweet, good luck with it. And I loved us pairing up together for the first run of the day. Be cool You and your boys should come up this way again, but next time we go out for beverages

I had a GREAT time today!!!!!

All I could get out of her was a 13.03@105.25, and a 13.09@104.69. Lets all pray for that cool weather!!!!

Spiro, it was nice meeting you(I said it in your thread), and hopefully you can come out and race one more time before you retire the old beast!!! If not, it would be nice to have someone follow me to the staging lanes and remove my ice!!!!!j/k

Had a great time today and there was a very nice showing of L's, something like 20 trucks. It was nice meeting all of you and i'm sure i'll see you guys in the future if you race at cecil often.

I just can't wait until some cooler weather comes around, and when i get that darn chip to work

Hey...instead of wasting all that money on ICE, you could be putting it towards NOS bottle refills instead.....just might cool things down a little quicker. And reward you with LOW ET's

Hey Everyone.

I had a great time at Cecil, It was nice to put faces together with user names from the boards...I wish we all got along as well on the boards as we did in person at the track. I think now that we all have met, we can learn to, agree to disagree, in a friendlier manner.. ..

I had a great time talking and racing with everyone, I hope to get up this way again in my L...

Friday night I had better times, 12.86@106.93 and 12.82@107.44. My first pass on Sat morning was 12.91@106.41 after that, I couldn't get in the 12's again...

I look forward to cool weather also Kyle, I know how you feel...

I am still suprised that there were as many Lightning's as there were... Its an incredible sight seeing 20+/- L's pitting together and having a blast... It would have been nice if the temps were cooler, and the bees would have left us alone though...

JL/Sue - Thanks again for lunch and letting us share the shade of your tent. As always its great to hang out with you and your family...

Spiro - Glad you could make it.... Even though it was only for a short time, it was still good to get together. Thanks again for bringing the hood with you!

thepawn - Still can't believe you made it... It seemed like as soon as you got there you were getting ready to leave. Never the less, glad you could make it down.

DL - I have to give you credit, your truck looks incredible... And runs even better than it looks!

Brian K - Good to see you again... Kinda wierd to see you without your L... The Mustang was very nice though!

Pantera - Your car is incredible! I can almost feel myself start to drool just thinking about it. It is a work of automotive art! Glad I got the chance to see it in person!

There are so many more people that I am forgetting... I do want to thank everyone for making Saturday a very enjoyable day...

It was very cool to see every Lightning there have a Red, White and Blue ribbon on their antenna!! Glad we had enough for everyone...

Looking forward to the next event for all of us to get together!!
