Lady Fliperty KIX ***!

Lady Fliperty KIX ***!

Guys, quit your yacking. People make fun of WAY more things than this that you all never get offended over (like the lil picture of the baby flipping people off).

What about when Clark W. Griswold in European Vacation helped to make the pilots of his flight knock her (Lady Liberty) torch off? You all thought that was funny.

Waaa waaa waaa.

That picture was made to instill some energy back into us and helping us to keep our heads up.

For starters, how about that useless piece of S_ _ T sitting
in jail for planning the WTC bombing. Wouldn't he be more
usefull hanging from a rope tied to the Statue of Liberty's arm ??

P.S. The EAGLE is Hunting !!

I must admit, when I was 12 I probably would have found this post to be funny. Maybe even hilarious. But over time some things become stale. If you guys want to post this stuff between sessions of lighting your farts and stuffing firecrackers up frogs a$$es, more power to you. Like you say, it is a free country. That means I'm just as free to think it's not funny or appropriate and to say so.
Thank you.

I didn't know we were voting. In that case, let me wade in. In my mind, the Statue of Liberty is not a political figure, she's not a national soundboard, she's certainly not partisan. She's a mute but eloquent embodiment of a part of what makes America America, a land of immigrants who often arrived with nothing but dreams. She's a figure that first validated those dreams, giving some substance to what may previously have been lurid, wild-eyed hope of hopes that died many times within the hearts of our forefathers... Until they landed here.

Lady Liberty did not judge; she did not demand only the cream of the crop, the elites and the wealthy. Rather, she alone gave hope to the hopeless, sustenance to the hungry, and perhaps most importantly, dignity to the undignified. Let her remain dignified.
