wow!

can you please tell me what dealer this is? I bring my truck in tuesday for the I/C leak and i already don't like the looks of it. If they are that cool about replacing things, i would really like to know where this place is. I'm about 25 mins from cecil, so it must be close. I bought mine from winner ford and thats where it is getting serviced. They are SVT certified, but that doesnt mean much now a days. I think blue oval certified means that they just know how to bullchit better than most dealers.

Thumbs up

You have a fast truck there man....Way to go.
Yup....Johnny's stuff is top notch, as is he! I only wish there were service managers like that in Indiana. It would almost be worth the drive east, to avoid the endless bull**** that "L" drivers encounter around here, when dealership service is required.

Hey 2l8uburn:

Way to go on those fast times, JL 's products really make our L's perform....
Does he only service L's with JL products installed?

Statistics show, JL has the fastest Truck..

did you do that number on street tires? also what exactly are all your mods, could you be more specific, and also who you dealt with at johny lightning. also how does your truck drive in normal traffic on a daily basis, is it just as docile as stock? or is it a lttle harsher? thanks,,,,, al

When you find a good dealer like this send the info in a private email. I know ford knows whats going on, but no use taking the chance of dipping a good dealer in the fat because ford saw a post here. I'm guilty of this myself early on, but I stopped posting the name, but if anyone in Houston needs a good dealer we have several. Treat them as gold. A good dealer is the difference between loving your truck or hating it. Even if GM were to come out with a 500 hp truck tomorrow, I would be hard pressed to buy one primarily because I have such a great relationship with Ford dealers in Houston.

Put the issue with the first post behind you, and lose the attitude.

what attitude doug? I see the part about the dealership stuff is gone?? why is that? Lots of people including me would like to know what dealer is going to fully warranty a JL equipped Lightning? Or any other modded L for that matter. Steven G

Here are your quotes out of context from 7 of your 13 posts.

a)

hmmmmm
and then it gets edited totally out..

b)

SGI think I will stick with that, especially with all the crap you get around here when you ask a question and someone calls you names and such just because you metioned someones name they didnt like.. Steven

c)
Wow. an engine that wasnt covered under warranty??? amazing...SG

d)

are you that much of an *******??

e)
I did not come here to defend myself on everything I say, I came here because of the sites title F150online, I guess it should be called "lets fight"online-----------------------

f)
kick em in the nuts..LOL..........

g)
sorry for asking questions..SG
If you click the search button under any of your posts you will see every post you have ever made. As Noelvm said there is a weird sense of humor used here. maybe the quotes above are your attempts at humor and I misinterpreted them as attitude. If that is the case it is because you haven’t been around long enough so we can tell what to expect.

The now famous Newbie thread is still here
https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...threadid=50106

I just closed it

Lots of people including me would like to know what dealer is going to fully warranty a JL equipped Lightning? Or any other modded L for that matter. Steven G
If you are still interested in the answer to that question, asking it with out needlessly singling out a tuner ( without attitude ) will get a discussion started. The last discussion was going bad in my opinion. If you do a search on warranty you will find exhaustive information and discussion on mods and warranty. There are at least 2 dealers in DFW who sell and warranty chips for example. However, when you ask a question with ( what I perceive to be ) a smart a** attitude, I normally wouldn’t take the time to reply with that info. Why bother ?

Doug

Wink What did I miss?

Waaaaaaahhhhhh!!!! I missed his first post, and I feel left out. I wanna know? Gosh, I was only gone for a few hours, and there's already something going on. I'm gonna have to get a wireless LAN and a laptop I can take to the bathroom.
