Question Two 15 sec. videos

Anyone want to post a couple of 15 sec. videos for me. I was attempting to peg my spedo on the way to work this morning. I did on both tries but as you will see my 15 sec. was up on the first attemted and I was only at about 127mph and I got to about 138 to 139 on my second attemped before my time was up. I will asure you that on both tries that the spedo did go bye bye. The first run I would say I got real close to 150mph before I let off and the second try I got to just under 145 or so. I will time it better soon and show you all that it does go bye bye and keeps pulling.

Here's a stupid question:

Why not start the video later in your run?? Start the video at 80 mph, and take her to your limit.

Spiro,
The first run I started at about 65 mph, and for the second run I bumped the start up to about 95mph, it took me 15 seconds to go from 95 to just about 140, so I guess if I want to show a 150mph or so blast I better not start the camera til about 130mph. Or I guess I could use the NOS but I wanted to show the spedo pegging with out the use of that. It gets to 120mph real quick but after that it does take it longer to go, but it still goes. Maybe I will try again in a few minutes, since I'm off to work.

Wow....it took that long from 95 mph.
I didnt use the nitrous either, at that speed it could get a little "Fast and Furious" Good luck with your venture. I look forward to the video. Sounds like your really determined to post it I like that

I'd be under the impression that that factory mirrors would create more drag than in any position other than out and locked. They weren't designed to flow tucked. If this works, cool, but it just seems that taking them off would be the better choice, and if not then leave them out. I seriously doubt anyone has any flow #'s, LoL, but maybe I'll try this one day since you mentioned it.

I used to find it odd that taking the tailgate off (or leaving it down) would create more drag. It's amazing why until you actually sit down and study it.

No need to remove tailgates and tonneau covers, keep that weight on the rear.

Madhouse, I sent them again to the other address, And I sent them one at a time so you should get three. If they get posted I will apologize for the music that I was listening to now, it was up to loud for the camera and it sounds like ****. From now on I will leave the music down. I hope you enjoy them anyway and I will get one soon with it pegged, so don't worry.
A question, Spiro has me thinking does my truck take longer than average to get to 140mph? I know 15 seconds seems like alot to go from 95 or 100 to 140 but 15 seconds goes by fast. So what does it take for you guys to do 100 to 140? For the guys that do it anyway, have any of you timed it?

90 to 140

I tested this today in alomost stock condition. From 90 mph to 140, it took me about 11-12 seconds.
