Madhouse,
First I wanted to say thanks for taking the time to post for me. I know it is a pain and I need to get my own way to do this, I have about 30 videos or so and no way to post them. I guess there must be a way, since other people can do it but I'm only so-so with computers and was pretty proud of myself when I had my zing album, now I don't even have a way to post pictures.
Does that seem to be picking up speed to slow, It feels like it pulls pretty good and I have no problems on pegging my spedo.
Thanks, Bill

Bill I love the video, by the way were you holding the camera and driving at the same time? If so thats a true talent.

Madhouse,
You're close, I did them on the turnpike spur from Exit 7 to Route 1.

hey BfB
you said that you used to find it odd that taking the tailgate off (or leaving it down) would create more drag. why is that? i thought it would go the other way around

I know this sounds crazy, but the truck has less drag w/ the tailgate up and in place! I don't have absolut proof here, but many have stated likewise and have pointed to some info concerning it (i.e. wind tunnel testing, track testing, etc.).

I'll try and find some threads on it.

fast54triton,
Here are a few more that I made a while back, You may have already seen these ones but I figured that since they have already been posted it was easy to bring them to this post.
A lot of the other videos I have are track videos and when I make some more street videos Madhouse has already told me that he will post them for me. If you do want to see some 12 second runs at the track done on my 22's I will send them to you, just let me know. Most people would rather just see the street videos so that is why I try to get them posted and not the track ones.

Got all 6 of em

Love the squeel of the tires on the 1-2 shift

Can you do one of those recordings, going from 0-100 or 0-60 or something? That would be cool!

fast54triton,
Will do, any more requests? I'm thinking about opening my back window and holding the camera pointed back from a dead stop and seeing how a first and second gear burn while accelerating would look being filmed out the back window. It might be a little tricky but I could look at the LCD sceen through my rear veiw mirror to try to get it all on tape. Any more ideas?

Heres what I think.

1) Speedo: 0-100 (or 60, doesnt matter)
2) Mount camera on dash, and do passing scenarios. Like going 60 down highway, and floor it to pass someone (be safe!)

Im tired, no ideas.

Hey man your very welcome. I have had a ton of fun watching some friend’s faces when I show them your L.
Their jaw hits the ground in disbelief. They got to see it a second time to be sure it was a truck…

If you got any more like that please post....

David
