we need a new list of dealers that have given us warrenty problems without reason. this is a powerful site, that is viewed by a lot more people than post here. if we can sway service and new vehicle purchases from unjust dealers, we can really help ourselves in future purchases of SVT vehicles.

 

Dreager Ford in Georgetown, Tx. They have no idea what customer service is! As bad as their service dept. is, the Body shop has about the finest customer service you will ever find.

I bought my truck from these people and when I made my appointment yesterday for recall work and an inspection I told them about my mods and the phone went quiet and then I got a long lecture as to why I should not put aftermarket parts on my truck.

To top it off, everytime the truck is in for service I have to wait for what seems like an eternity for something that should take five minutes. They told me that the wiper recall would take 1/2 a day to complete. I told them to give me the damn part and I would fix it.

When I ordered my 2001 tail lights they told me that they would be arriving in two days and I never seen them for another two months. They lost one and had to emergency back order it and lost that one too!!! They finally just ordered it again and I finally got them. I officially ordered them on the 5th of May and never recieved them until the 15th of June. Substandard parts dept.

I have already reserved the truck a spot at another GOOD dearler for the intercooler replacement when it starts to leak.

They wouldn't warrenty any of my fog light problems, BS!
When I went in for my intercooler leak, they told me I was CRAZY cuase it wasn't leaking, HAHAHA
That was the last time I went in there.

I go to fairfield ford in midlothian, IL. good small dealer that cares about there customers and service. Never any problems with mods there, and you guys no what my truck looks like WHERE"S THIS STUFF AT

Earnie Haire Ford in Tampa is a ripofffffffffff!!!!!!!! they changed the price on me 5x. I just short of killed the dealer then he called back the next day and was ready to make a deal. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

 

Maybe it'd be easier to post friendly dealers. I'd recommend Earnhart Ford on 56th and Ray. The service manager knows my trucks been at the track. He also knows it has some aftermarket equipment. So far they've been very helpful on the few times I've been in. BTW, I would not recommend buying a car there.

I agree with 2000 Trade-In, it would be more beneficial to list the good dealers, that are mod friendly and know what they are doing. I have been dealing with BAYSHORE FORD in New Castle, Delaware. Their service dept. is GREAT. They are opened to midnight, Mon.-Fri, 7-5 on Sat. and 7-4 on Sun. And get this, although they are a SVT authorized dealership, they are only allowed to sell/service trucks!!! No cars!!! They have replaced the fog lights, seat cushion, rear window molding, fixed clunk, fixed wiper recall (I asked them about the recall and they said it was already on the job order), shim kit for bed isoloation, installed signal mirrors (only paid the difference from standard mirror replacement, that were vibrating). They could always recreate my complaints and didn't look at me like I was insane or brush me off like I didn't know what I was talking about. But, due to this web site, there is a lot of ammunition that was given to me prior to going in for warranty work. THANKS!!! Sorry for the long post!

Dont take your trucks to these dealers unless you want them damaged. Seems like they know you've got a nice vehicle so they'll scratch it up. The L will NEVER see either of these places. Learned this lesson when I took my old '91 Ranger to these goons.

Ford Groves in Cape Girardeau, Missouri

The service manager is a jerk and the owner knows absolultely nothing about customer service. Most recently they voided my L warranty for using a chip. I don't feel like going into all the bad experiences I've had there but here's a couple: They tried to void me on a Mustang back in 92 because I had put 3.73's in it. I think the only thing that saved me then was that I was a cop at the time and as soon as they started talking about cancelling the warranty I showed up the in my cop suit and then everything was OK. Imagine that. Then my wife (before we were married) took her car in while it was still under full factory warranty (like 4,000mi) for a noise in the front end. They pulled it in, looked under it, said they couldn't find a prob and proceeded to charge her $50 for labor. Needless to say that was refunded after I found out about it. This dealership is singlehandedly responsible for my decision to never buy Ford again.

 

Good dealer to do buying through is Oakfield Ford... I was 23 when i bought my truck and when i walked into the dealer they were very professional about selling there vehicles... On the other hand there service department isn't the greatest... I had my truck in 2 times for vibration and always seemed to be the air pressure in the tires? I work in the tire industry and air pressure doesn't cause vibration... Then my truck had a fire and I had it towed to them... Big mistake... They had not even looked at my truck and were telling me it was not under warranty...WTF??? I called SVT and the truck was in the shop within 5 minutes and the problem was diagnosed... Then just to **** them off I had it towed out of there service department and into another Ford shop... I would recommend Elmhurst Ford for service(Non-SVT Dealer) because they listen to the customer and don't immediately assume an aftermarket mod is the cause...
