Question Help Leaf Spring Bushings

Help

I am removing my Cal Tracs, and putting JDM's traction Bars on my truck. So I need to get a set of front bushings to replace the metal bushing that come with the cal tracs.

I called Energy Suspension and they don't have a Listing for the Lightning or any 2 wheel drive F150 after 1996. They do have a part # 4-2103 for a 4 x4 f150, but I don't know if it will fit.

Has anyone replaced the bushing and if so what was the part # and where did you get them.

Thanks
Don

Wish I could help. I did the front control are bushings but the new rear springs came with new bushings in place. Should not be hard to find replacemente. Get your dimensions and take your calipers shopping with you. Try "Prothane" thats where I got my front bushings.

Thanks Silver-Bolt I called them too, they were just plain rude to me.

Looks Like I will have to order a set of the factory bushings, and have them pressed back on. Man this sucks.

If anyone else has any idias I am all ears.

Thanks
Don

Update

I might have found a set ot Urethane bushings, I talked to a guy at http://www.suspension.com/ I gave him the specs for the front bushings he went to the shelf and found something that might work. I will let you know how it goes. He is a cool guy and is also a Ford nut, who drives a 66 Shelby Cobra with a 427.

For 35 bucks it is worth a try.

Try one more. http://www.quickor.com

That's where I got my Prothane from.

The dealer bushing won't be very expensive. If you end up going that route.

Just incase the Urethane Bushing I ordered don't fit, do you have the part # for the OE, and how hard to press them in?

Thanks
Don
