I recently purchased my L and am looking to mod the tranny. I was shopping for a line mod and can't seem to find out why there is such a difference in the prices....ie PSP vs. JL ect... any help on this one???

 

I just paid $99 for a JDM valve, then I *believe* I saw that Mark @ 'Lightning Force' sells them for $69.

 

Most all are Level 10 based. Some (JDM and Mark) sell only the mod valve (piston), others only the springs, and some both. PSP is also selling Factory Techs complete valve body which slightly simplifies install, but job is very simple, particularly if doing just the piston. This is also a good time to do a bigger tranny pan either factory steel or aftermarket finned aluminum. Those pans that use the 4 x 4 filter place the oil pick-up lower which will help if you favor autocross or high lateral G's.
