Are you satisfied with the reliability of your L?
topsy--i have 7000+ on my 01 and aside from the seat belt recall and greasing the wheel stops once in a while, i haven't had any problems. i did have a slight water leak by the door but that was no biggie. so far so good---Jim
Had a few warranty issues....
Window made clucking noise going up or down.
Drivers side power window motor replaced.
Truck would not restart after being shut off. Had to cool down.
Fuel pump and fuel regulator assembly replaced.
Intercooler replaced @ 25K miles
A-Arm Bolt Fix
Other than these warranty issues the reliability has been stellar, especially with how much I drive it. I have 41k on mine right now. My truck also survived an accidental throw into reverse at over 100mph at the track last October. I will never sell this truck even if the 2001's are better than mine. MY TRUCK IS A DAMN TANK!

'01 coming up on 10,000 miles. Picked up 4-5-01. I put in Herbs washers, had the frontend realigned. I rotate my own tires, change my own oil & filters. I had to ad 1 can of R134 refrigerant to the A/C. (I figure they didn't have the system full when it left the factory). I have averaged a best MPG of 19.25, and a worst of 12. something. I had the cracked driving lights replaced under warranty. I'm very happy with our new L. My wife just towed my disabled 13,000lb. towtruck back to our shop 2 nights ago with her '94 L with 117,000 miles on her. (the carb stud on the towtruck Holley, backed its way out and fell into the carb., past the butterflies, and into a cylinder, hammering the piston enough to break, and let the wristpin split the cylinder into the cooling system. This all took place while driving 20 MPH).
