super charger oil

What type of oil is needed for the super charger on he 00 ford lightning?? Thanks for all the help

You will need 2 bottles to fill from dry. You also may be able to buy it from a GM dealer.

I've read that other brands do not last as long as FMC oil either. Yes it is less expensive, but you get what you pay for also. (IMO) I think ford say it never needs changing, but I'm doing mine at 100,000 miles once I get there. (at 97thou now)

From what I can find out, that GM oil is absolutely identical to the Ford oil and about 1/3 the price - if you can even find the Ford oil. I also believe Ford does recommend 100k changes.

The GM oil is what most run. That is what I am running in mine.

I used the GM oil in Eaton and my Magnum Powers.

The Ford oil is P/N XL-4 just in case anyone wants to know

Takes two bottle to fill the blower.
