Odd sound from exhaust
Hello all,
Just joined the club!
Anyways, my Lightning has just turned 1,500 Km (~1,000 miles), and I decided it was time to really open up on the throttle. This was the first time I held down all the way 'til it shifted, and the sound from the exhaust didn't "sound" right, to me.
It's almost like the sound heard if you were to stick out your tonge, to tease someone as a child. Sort of a "farting" sound, for lack of a better term.
The sound only occurs at the very top of the rpm band, just prior to shifting (for a split-second), and is definately coming from the tailpipes.
Anyone have any thoughts on this? This is my first time with a force-fed application, and am still getting used to the "whine" of the 'charger, so I don't know what sounds coming from the vehicle mean, anymore :P
TIA

That's exactly what it is, they fart. Munching on the General products tend to give them gas.
Not really, that's Ford's "torque management" program that kills 4 cylinders at shift. It can be eliminated with a chip.
