Unhappy in to the dealer.......

i have an appoitment for the dealer tomorrow morning for, what else a leaky i/c. stoped in today to see if they can just put some dye in it, and ill bring it back later, but that was a no go..they said they will do a pressure test for the leak, but will they fined anything if the leak is internal? should i push for the dye test? i have the p/n for the fix i/c to make sure the right one is ordered, has anyone seen a tsb number i can refer then to? also i have a 2000 and the only way i am getting a loaner is that i have a extended warr and it only covers a loaner after the first 24 hours, i saw a post a couple days back that SVT offers a loaner for service is that true for a 2000 and should i be elagable for one..

thanks
jim

A pressure test won't do squat.

Ask them if they have ANY clue what you're talking about. It doesn't sound like it.

Have them call SVT and get some help.

Jim, what dealer are you going to. You might be better off going to Grande Ford in Richmond (32 Mile Road & Gratiot). It would be a longer drive, but they are a Bassani dealer and maybe they are more Lightning friendly.

Personally, no. I have heard of others going there with good results.

Funny

We all have Ford Ext warrantees but the dealers all tell diff stories on the rental. I get 3 or 5 days ( cant remember ) all I have to pay is the tax.

Dont forget it is all negotiable

In case the handle isnt clear enough mine is a 2000
