PSP chip question

Since Sal is out of town,I thought maybe someone could answer this. I have a PSP 4-way chip for a 2000 Lightning for sale in the classifieds and someone with a 2001 wants to buy it . Can it be reprogrammed for the 2001 or not. Thanks for any answers!

Question

Mike, it can be reburned for an 01, but why are you selling it? I thought you were going to send it to me for the latest updates?

Our policy on chip reburns is pretty simple. If you purchased the chip from us originally, it's a $10 reburn fee ($20 for 4ways). If you got the chip used or from another Autologic dealer, it's a $100 reburn fee, which basically is the customer paying for the R&D on the programs, since we are not collecting that from the chip sale. Getting a used chip can be good because most times between the used price and the reburn fee, you're still paying less than a new one.
