Question torque converter questions

can anyone tell me what a aftermarket torque converter would do for my truck?

what does the 2500 or 2600 stall mean?
can the stock torque converter be rebuilt to do the same thing?
the aftermarket ones are like 700-800 bucks!

i drive my truck everyday, and want to keep it streetable.

thanks,
brooks

I have the Precision Industries torque converter, and I love it - has not affected streetability whatsoever.

i emailed you a while back JL, but i wanted a consensus from the peanut gallery..

JL- i know i'd prolly love it, but the price tag is staggering! i hope to find out if the stock one can be rebuilt.

thanks!

Cool

Clonetek I agree with you. I already have all JL parts, but I really dont want to spend that much for a torque converter either. Im still looking at other options.
