Sparco seats....on the way :)

After much thought and consideration.....i ordered the Sparco seats. My credit card is slowy exceeding the cost of my truck

Anyway, I ordered the Sparco Milano seats.....grey with alcantara center (fancy word for black i guess). From the picture i thought it was cloth but is indeed suede, just like the stock seats. In addition, Sparco carries brackets that fit out trucks perfectly with a sliding seat adjuster to boot.

All i need now is the expediton console.....Does the console come complete or are their seperate pieces that i need to order. What year expedition is best used or are all the same?

I can't wait till they come in........real butthuggers for the twisties!

Anthony

Anthony, please do me a favor...... In the lowest position on the stock seat, please measure headroom. Then measure on the new seats.. when you get them of course. Since i'm so tall, i cant afford any loss of headroom and the seat company had no firm answers for me on any headroom losses or gains.. Thanks so much.

The sparcos are $799 each and believe me i have checked a few places.

Two seats $1600
All Necessary brackets $300

Each seat weighs 38 pounds, i am going to weigh the stock ones when they come out to compare.

I ordered them from a place in New Jersey

Thumbs up

REALLY?! they have brackets for an F150... cool I thought Zorprime made custom brackets.

PLEASE keep us posted on the ease of install (or lack thereof). And if you change the drivers side first, I'd like to see pics with just the driver seat changed, but stock passenger seat in place

Thanks...

I'm envious. I would really like to do these seats but am having a hard time jusitfying spending 1900 on seats and brackets plus the cost of a console.

Then again buying this truck for a "toy" was not real rational nor has been dumping 4-5 grand in motor and suspension mods.

Screw it...I'm pulling out the checkbook!

Can you also measure the height under the drivers seat once you install them.

I want to see if I will be able to fit an amp under without the power seat there.

Then I could fit four tens behind the seat nicely. SWEET!

NOSTROMO, I am very interested in your seat project. How do you work out the seat belts. Are you going to a 4 or 5 point racing harness?
