Lightning engine stoped

I got a whole set of filter and 90mm airmass,breather,thermostat,plug ngk and i had my superchip reburned to warm weather program. From JDM now here is the problem every time i start the engine it start then dies on me even if i put gas can anyone tell me whats going on the chip is a cux2 my lightning is a 99 i took out the battery for 5 min and still does not start for a long time just dies please any one help

looks as if you have the wrong chip for your computer..
CUX2 is for a 2000 lightning.. you need a CUX1 chip, or get a dealership to reflash your computer to a CUX2 program.

the cpu was reflashed along time ago to a cux2 thats why i had JDM make the chip to a cux2 but thanks forgot to include that in the info

hmmm..
did you just try to put the chip back in? check the contacts to see if there is any crud on it, or inside the chip..
maybe its not getting a good connection?

i dunno dood...

Are there any SVT authorized dealers in the Phillipines? Are there any Ford dealers? I'd be scared of a Damn volcano getting ash all over my L.

Try pulling the chip and then try to start the truck. That way you could eliminate the chip as the problem.

I did that to but it still did not work and thanks for the help its kind of hard for me to go to the dealer as i leave all the way in the Philippines and the only place i can get info is from the f150online this site is the best place to get help and every time it sure confirms this feeling i even tried to pull the neg from the bat and also the positive still no help

we dont have a svt dealer here but we have a ford dealer and this is the main ford not a local partner its ford USA over here
