I have had this problem from day 1 but kept putting off having it looked at.
At start up I would hear a noise that sounded like a slipping belt.
I had a neighbor look under the hood while I cranked it up and he noticed a scarring on the two pulleys below the S/C pulley.
Made an appt with the dealer for Monday. They said they would fix the seat belt recall problem too.
Should I also have the go ahead and realign the front end too? Should I supply the cam bolt kits or will they have them?
The L has 1700 miles on it.

Any other 01L owners have that noise problem?
