Dodge boys never learn!!!!
CN,
The whole point here is that the Lightning is a complete package, in stock form. It is engineered from the ground up to perform handle and brake, and do it better than your Mopar ever could, in its stock form. You have to expend lots of money, time and effort just to get your vehicle modified anywhere close to the Lightning's specs, and add that to the sticker value of your truck and you could have purchased a '01 Lightning, cover, bed cover, modifications and probably a years worth of maintenance. Plus that money that you spent adds very little IF ANY market value to your truck, and possibly ruins your warranty.
L owners, pat yourselves on the back, you did the right thing, and made a investment in a specialty vehicle that will hold it's value. I know I did

hmmm...maybe you are right, I have spent alot of money, time and trouble on my truck..I guess I just wanted a yellow truck, but with the way it looks now, i wouldnt give it up for anything, it gets way too much attention..yellow, dropped low, wide tires, clears all around, roll pan, tonneau, super bee stripe, and sounds beautiful...I think I'll keep my R/T, the looks makes up for its obvious lack for performance..i'll just throw a 408 stroker in there in the spring and run low 12s
