To all who think i'm lying

This digital pic is not at a good res. So forgive me, it came from the dealer. Anyone who knows the differance can see the line across the bottom thats not in the '01 lights. As soon as i can get the repair work done i'll get the work order to prove this truck came off truck like this.

Sorry if i offen any '99 & '00 owners I was trying to be funny not rude.

New lights were to to arrive untill Thursday after noon and I went after my new L today. Took more Pic hoope these develope and will get scanned as soon as i can. They are going to make the change on Wenesday of next week.

It had 13.8 miles on it when i left dealership and by the time i got home tonight it has 57.4. Can't wait for this weekend so I can hit the Bluerige Parway.

Thumbs up

Hey Silver Bolt throw me an email, always looking for more 2001 L lights, I can never get enough here. There is always someone around here looking for 01 L lights. I personally have tricked out well over 30 trucks with these lights and even done 8 Harley F 150's. Gotta run go lock my tailgate.......

NC- well, to tell you the truth, I have a '00 with the stock heads and tails, and my headlights don't look at all like the ones in the pic you posted. Those still look aweful clear to me. Mine are more translucent than transparent. My guess is either that:

#1: if this supposed "line on the bottom that shouldn't be there" that you're talking about is there, then they probably changed the design of the headlamp mid production for some reason; or

#2: Maybe it has somehow taken me this long too to realize that I got shafted on headlights too, since my stock '00 heads are wayyyy "foggier" looking that the "stock '00's in your '01" (but then again, my truck was made before the '01 was even a twinkle in an SVT design engineer's eye, so that's probably not possible); or

#D: You are still new at this whole L game, you speak before you've had a chance to think out in your head what you should say, and you spent wayyy to much time studying every last detail of every last picture and every last spec in the pamphlet that you're parents gave you back in May when they said "this is what we're buying you for your high school graduation present"

...oh, and I'm sorry if I offended any '01 owners, I was trying to be funny, not rude.

helluva way to impress people right of the bat though NC. haha (Nelson voice- The Simpsons). later...

Talking

Boy, I made a ton of money buying them by the carton and selling them to the ricer crowd on eBay. Sure wouldn't put 'em on my truck, though.

uhhhhhh guys

I think that those lights in the pic. are the new Harley Davidson lights for 01 or 02.They are way more clear than my 00 Regular F150 Lights.I remember seeing a pic of an HD with these lights.

Just a minor sidenote, Wouldn't it save production money if they just put the same lights (01 Ls) on every truck, like they did before this year?

that pics at a weird angle but those look like the
crystal eye headlights, maybe someone at the dealer pulled
a switcharoo?
Also theres noway the factory would run out of lights and put any
other headlight on it.

Those sure look like 01 lights to me. Take a look at the chrome cover over the bulb. It should say "SVT" on it. If it does they are the 01 lights. Only the 01's have the logo on the bulb reflector.
