LMAO, that was the closest shot of the L from the entire race. Dang Gordo had to get in the best shot of the day. To bad it wasn't Junior.

I rolled on it with an SVHS from cable, then later grabbed it in with a Studio DC-10+. The quality isn't there because cable sucks, and because I roll in EP to get an entire race on one tape. It looks better when I record from DTV sat, but I don't have the locals on the satellite just yet. I'm going to convert my whole house soon to the oval dish and dual DirectTivo recievers.

Normally I tape over them the next week, unless something really special happens. Certain tapes like Junior winning the Pepsi 400 are taken out of the rotation.

How good it could've looked if they had used SILVER

They didn't use black because it would take all the attention away from the race cars. Corporate sponsers demanded this form the Glen.

Question

Does anyone have any other close up shots of the Lightning pace truck? I was curious how they mounted the light bar on top of the truck, and how the headlight/fog light wig wag combination was set up. I have been searching for this wig wag set up for my truck - I am a volunteer firefighter and need them on the truck - and have been unsucessful.

Don't know what they used at the Glen, but www.galls.com should have what you need.

Thanks. I really don't know how they work, but I don't think it would be too hard to tie in wiring for both the headlights and fog lights. I definitely need to get something in the truck soon because it is getting old driving with the four ways on, headlights/fog lights on, and flashing my high beams all the way to the fire department.
