I installed the B&M pan. +3 qts. and uses the stock filter. I like this more because it is aluminum, has heat sink fins, drain plug. Remember to use Mercon not Mercon V... It costs around $170 bucks but looks much nicer than stock steel pans.

I got mine at the ford dealer. Just ask for a pan for a 4x4 F-150,same year as your truck. I just put a new filter on today. The filter is at least $15 cheaper at Autozone than the dealer. Which ever pan you go with, you will like the drain plug. Don't forget your magnet in the stock pan and you use the stock gasket.

Mike

If you want the part # for the Ford. I'll go out and look at the box and post it for you.

L8APEX.Thanks to you too .That is one nice set-up.But right now I'm trying to keep cost down and the 4X4 pan fits the bill..especially under 50.00

Remember to get one for the 4R100 or E4OD which is in the 250 and 350 trucks not the F150's. I noticed FASTRNU's post said F150 4X4 pan I think they have a 1/2 tranny. The pans should be different.
