Question Exhaust question (Magnaflow)?

Currently, I have the 12568 muffler on my 2001 L. It sounds pretty good but I'd like a little more aggressive sound. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the 12468 (as a reslult of a shorter length) would give a noticably deeper/louder tone. I claim no expertise on exhaust and don't know anyone else with a L, so it is a challenge to guess the right set-up. Any help or other suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm in the Dallas area and I have a 12468 along with JBA headers. Kind of hard to compare sound level, but check TALON out over at the NLOC site and maybe you can join up with us at our next event. Are you the guy that has the Black "L" with the Cervini hood?

I've never heard the 12568 before, but I've heard people say that it is just a tad louder than stock and that the shorter on 12468/14468 is louder.....

I've got the 14468 and it is alot louder than stock. It was really cool to hear them start it up for the first time at the muffler shop b/c its exactly the loudness/tone I was hoping for

Thumbs up

Yea man I just put my 14468 in today and it sounds GGGRRREAT!!! It smells pretty bad but oh well. But can someone point me in the right direction for some tips, these stock ones just don't cut it. Need something bigger 3 1/2 or so??? But anyway the muffler sounds really mean not too loud and annoying just right. Especially at WOT!!!!!!! It turns heads.

the smell goes away in a day or so, and it also gets louder once you put about 200 miles on it........

Sixpipes-
I'm not the guy with the Cervini hood but I see him around town occasionally. I'll take a look at TALON. Thanks
