Question To those running Flip Chips...

I have a flip chip on the way and was just curious where everyone mounted their switch and how. I was half tempted to leave it bunched together next to the chip so no one would see it but then again, I don't want someone to accidently kicking it while driving. Whats your opinions?

I put my PSP 2 program chip switch right in the glove box no mounting required and its hidden and dont have to worry about anyone kicking or hitting it. Just if someone puts something in the glove box remind them about the switch.

There is a little metal bracket right under the glove box to the left side. Down in the hinge gap. It drops right in.

Thumbs up

When you open the glove box there is a pocket on the right side. I drilled a small hole and then pushed the switch up through and then put on the washer and nut. Its a great place and I have ask a couple of people who know that I have a flip chip to try and find it with out tracing the wires and they couldn't. It's out of the way and stealth at the same time.

Thanks for all your help on this. As soon as I get the new chip and track test it, I'll post times. JDM says that it should shave about 4 tenths off of my time and lately I've been running 13.5s in 80 degree + heat. We'll see what happens.
