Angry 2001 wheel paint

I don't know what it is with me and curbs! This is the third wheel I've buggered up. Does anyone know where to get the wheel paint, can or spray would be good.. By the way things are going I might need a couple gallons.....grrrrr!

I haven't heard of a paint code or touch up paint. Somebody said it was the same silver as the truck color but I don't think so. You could take it to NAPA or an automotive paint store that has the equipment to do a color match.

don't feel to bad, I've got a small rub from the curb on an ATM drive-thru. I don't you could get through it clean if you had spotters. I don't use that ATM anymore.

I got some touch up paint at Pep Boys, it was a 97 ford code. It wasn't exact but real close. I worked great on my curb scrape. I filed then sanded it smooth then touched it up.

I guess I got lucky I only scraped one of mine up.

My wheel scrape wasn't that deep that I neaded to fill the scrape. If you know where to look you can still see where the scrape is. If you didn't know it was there you would never find it.

Thanks Don.... Was that brush or spray??? BTW... The first two wheels I replaced with new ones (only $248 each). I went and had a buddy weld the damaged ones up and grind/sand them back to a smooth finish. I'll paint all three... That'll give me two spares. They should last me a couple months at the rate I'm trashing 'em....
