I had never manually shifted the truck, and i was racing a modified mr2 turbo. I manually shifted and overan first and it felt like the truck just shut off, damn scary....i think i will let the truck do the shifting from now on.

 

You will loose boost also trying this. You CANNOT manually shift this truck. You, and nobody else, are fast enough to stay ahead of it. Leave it in drive. If you race from a rolling start you need a chip that will drop the tranny down a gear at higher speeds than the factory programming will allow.
