Thanx JL!!!

Just got my new Power Pulley from the man in Bloo!! What a SWEET looking pulley!

I guess I know what I'm doing tonight

JL - You originally burned me the Diablo Chip for a PSP pulley... Should I send this back to you for a reburn for your new pulley?

Thanks for the quick shipping Johnny!!!!

arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!

Still trying to break off the old pulley AS WE SPEAK!

Got a friend going out for a length of piping to give some better leverage.... what did everyone else use to break this #$@# thing off? ....jeez, hope I'm turning it the right way Looking at the front of the pulley, turn the breaker bar clockwise, right?

God I'm sore... but I'm sure it's worth it

Yes turn it to the right! what you can do if your on the ground is just postion the breaker bar where you can get your foot on it and give it all you got! it will come off then......JL

Geezes you’re making me nervous. The torque spec is suppose to be 74 lb/ft
Well I better scare up some pipe too.

After you get the new one installed, can you post a pic? I haven’t seen one on a 01 yet….

I should have mine Monday..

Talking GIVE IT HELL

David,

Johnny is right on...well right off... damn it.. reverse threads are confusing. Ok, Johnny is correct in his assessment.

I ended up laying on my back, clutching the sway bar and kicking the crap out of the wrench, twice if I remember correctly. The trick is to think about how much more boooooooost you'll be stuffing into to the almighty Triton AND/OR how many more LS1's will fall in disgrace, then unleash your wrath. Wa-la....

DO IT WITH ENTHUSIASM MY BOY!!! and Don't forget the blue Loctite.

oh, and welcome aboard.....

Finished product.

Feliz Cumpleanos!

Happy B-day JL! Thanx for the pulley - ..and here I thought it was YOUR birthday

Got the blasted old pulley off!!! woo hoooooo! Put the new one on (wasn't tight at all going on), and took it out for a drive in the NICE 73* low humidity night air... DA/\/\N! Awfully scary speeds!

...weird thing though - taking it out, it seems to have lost those quick shifts that I had before... wonder if popping the - off the battery lost some of the programming?! Really weird. The shifts are quick, but not the mild neck-snap they were before... hmm

JL - May send you back the chip for a reburn (seemed to miss a bit on the 1-2 shift) and order me up a line valve mod

Let me know what code is on the chip...Glad you finally got it off! did the old side kick to the breaker bar do the trick?

Thanx for all your help, JL. I'll email ya this weekend with all the info - don't recall what the code on the chip is... I'll dive under the dash in the morning - barely awake enough to type!

Oh, and didn't use a kick, use another's method of pulling on the sway bar as I pushed the very end of the breaker bar...few seconds later "POP!"
