I would love to do spindles, but you have to have at least an 18" wheel. I didn't really want togo that route. The spindles are expensive enough!

i havent dealt with 1' spacers, the lower isolator contours with the shape of the spring, at the very bottom of it where the spring ends there is 1/4 of an inch of space between the spring and the actual spring pocket. so if i had them on with the drop coils and it looked like a 1' drop, i imagine the 1' spacer would raise it up noticeably instead of lowering it. that is if the spacer is actually 1 inch thick. if you do spindles and lightning springs you would be pretty close to a 3' drop. @mrhite65, yea i kind of regret getting spindles because i cant run rims smaller than 18's, with the drop control arms though you can still use your stock rims.

I'll have to look into the drop control arms, but I like the sound of them!
Yeah, I'm just looking to lower the front 2" max and right now the rear 2" and maybe 3"-4" max on that. I want a little rake to it and old school 60 or 50 series tires with raised white letters.

So, if I use the DJM lower control arms, that will give me my 2" drop. Everything else can be stock and won't affect the alignment. Is this right? Does anyone else make them?

DJM LCAs are actually 3" control arms, no matter what they call them

Either if you go with spindles or LCAs,your going to have to align it after the install because the tie rods have moved in a different angle. but as far as camber you shouldnt have issues with that.

That's what I'll probably head toward then.
If I go ahead and get hangers for a 3" or 4" drop in the rear will I need to c notch the frame?

You can get. 3" hanger, but not a 4" hanger.

4" easily clears without a notch, you can run 5" without a notch if you have good shocks, but you might bottom out a touch on big bumps

Sorry, I meant 2" hanger. I have 2" shackles now. That's where I was thinking 3" or 4".
I will need different shocks once I get below 2" drop, correct?
