How Much/who Has Most Boost
The last time we had our truck dyno'd they hooked up a boost guage and it read 13.5Lbs of boost @ 5500RPM w/ Nitrous. Since the we have added the PSP lower pulley and I am going to take a guess of about 15 to 15.5Lbs of boost. No Problems out of the Eaton either.
Lightning Boy, either that gauge or my Autometer guage is wrong! I am only getting 9 lbs. with the new pulley. Now my guage could be off a pound or two. It shows 1 IN. Hg with the truck not running and 20 IN. Hg at idle. Maybe this is why my truck is so slow!
I have an autometer boost gauge. My stock gauge goes way into the black, and the autometer gauge went to 12 in high second and high 3rd lastnight in 60 degree weather. On hotter days I see 10-11. I don't have a lower blower pulley yet, (on order since Jan 11) but maybe some day I will. I have an open air filter, and 90mm mass air.
According to the Autometer gauge yes. I do have an open air filter, and the 90mm mass air. Along with a chip, shift kit and alum DS. NO PULLIES yet. I wish and am waiting but nothing yet. I hope to get 14 with the lower pulley.
It's a 2000 with 12,500 miles.

How far into the black does your gauge go? How accurate are these stock gauges compared to aftermarket gauges? My boost gauge doesn't rise any higher with the stock size upper pulley or the smaller upper pulley. Does that mean I'm not getting more boost? or that the stock gauge has a stop?
Boost?
With JL's lower pulley, stock upper, Diablo chip, and 5450 shift points, I've seen 14 on my Autometer gauge in so-so air. The stocker lOOks like Easter's. heh heh heh
