Some Questions for you Road Racers

I have road raced my L 4 times so far, and I'm not sure how much longer the original brakes are going to last. There has been some discussion on brake pads lately, but I'm not sure which are the best for road racing/everyday driving. I hear that performance friction pads are hard on the rotors. Is this true? A guy that works at the track recommended them. Are the ceramic pads better? I'm looking for something that won't heat up so much, won't squeel when driving aroung town, and aren't hard on the rotors. I'm looking for pads - Brembos are out of my price range.
Also, I pay about $100 to run from 10:00 to 4:00 - sometimes as often as I want, and sometimes 20 minutes of each hour, depending on the number of cars. I know this is cheap, but I'm curious what others are paying and how much track time they get. I run at Nelson Ledges in Northeast Ohio.
Third questions - roughly how many miles of road racing should I get out of my Goodrich G Force T/A R1's. I usually run about 70 miles in a day of racing. I've used them once so far. Thanks.

Tom,
How do you like your BFG R1's? What size are they?

Anybody else have experience with other tires....likes/dislikes?

Spike,
I looked at Dreamin's post earlier, and it seems to be the best post out there so far, but he didn't mention ceramic pads. Also, the pads he is going with (Hawk Black) tend to squeel, which I want to avoid if possible. The stopping power of the stock pads are fine. The biggest problem is they overheat. I also wanted my pads to last longer, but not chew up the rotors - This is probably not possible.

Andy,
My BFG's are 295/35Z R18
I got them from Tirerack.com for $120 plus $15 to heat cycle each one. I've used them once and love them. I never fishtailed once. I'm sure I could have pushed the truck more around the turn with these tires since they never lost their grip. With the F1's I hit 110 mph on the straightaway. With the BFG's I could hit 120 mph because I could take the turn before the straightaway much faster. The only thing I don't know about the BFG's is how long they will last. Besides that, no complaints.

Run the Hawks when you're racing, and something else on the street.
