i will be coming up from north carolina on I95, and then according to my directions, coming back down on I85 from richmond. So is there anyone that can give me directions to the track, so far all i know is to take exit 53, VA703 off of I 85south. thanks

Take 95 to 85 south and get off on exit 63 south (Highway 1) and its 4-6 miles on your right. You'll see a big water tower that's near track.

 

thanks guys, i was going to go to norfolk for the rally, but at the last minute i found out that the track was 2 hours from norfolk, and so im just going straight to the track sat morn. (a lot closer for me too). What time are you guys gonna get there, i know t&t starts at 11am, but i assume the gates open earlier, to allow for some good cool down time. also, im assuming they dont have any a/c power where we're gonna be, so i need to bring a generator? Look forward to seeing everyone.

 

Gates open at 10:00. Gonna try to get there then. If it was just me it would be no problem but one of us has to do our hair.

 

hey 4d, ive got a video of you running at my home track. I met Y2K online (not in person yet) and he lives right near me. That was cool when i saw your videos and realized that you were running in kinston, where i live.

 

Where at in NC? I'm in the W-S area.

The race videos on my website 12.974, 12.988, Kelli 13.173, Y2K BOLT 12.994, and 13.067 were all shot at Kinston. I went down there when VMP closed for the season as they stay open all year. You need to meet Y2K, he's a nice guy. I'll definitely be down there again so we'll have to set a day when we can all go.

If you guys are heading up from there, I might could meet you somewhere along the way. And all go up at the same time. I want to get there a bit early so the truck can cool some. So I won't have to wait as long to run. Im probably gonna bring ICE bags
