Saw an article in the local sports section today about "Beat the Heat." Sounded like fun, I'm really sad I missed this last session, but I'll be keeping an eye out for the next one.

Anyway, the event pits local drivers against local police in supervised drag racing. According to the article, the local cop's best car, a '92 IROC Camaro, ran a 14.58"@92.53 mph. Really wish I knew about this event, as there was only one other truck at the event.... hehehe...

That's cool as hell. The VA cop has an 825HP 8 second car. Be a tough row to hoe to beat him.

 

Damn... We actually have ONE cool cop in Chesapeake I guess! LOL!

 

Great idea, drag race the cops and let them know how fast we are so they know who to look out for on the roads for speeding.

What if we race them and *let* them win.

 

Hell, I race the cops in my town all the time. Of course, i am good firends with most of them. will get them off the line but then their crown vics blow by me... It's funny to watch the faces of the people across the light from us when we both start lighting up our tires... hehehe
