Thumbs up ceramic brake pads from napa

Napa has front brake pads for the L of the ceramic variety, did a search and did not find this info in the faq. The pads offer better stopping power, which i noticed when i just nudged the brakes after a 1/4 mile run with et streets. The dust on the front rims is about equal to the rear rims with the ceramics,so this alone makes it worth it to me,and the ocasional brake squeel is history. They have about the same amount of brake dust after 300 miles as they used to get with 50 miles. I paid around 55.00 dollars but a freind of mine that manages a muffler shop picked them up for me so i would count on at least 10 dollars more for a pair.I don't have the part # but don,t ask for pads for a L because they will be the wrong ones.Your best bet is to drive to napa and have them look at your door sticker but i am pretty sure they are super duty pads.

Thanks ib fast: couple of questions--why not say we are for a L; or did you mean "don't say F150"?. And, what are we looking for on the door sticker?

Thanks

Dan

Cool

LIGHTNINGROD,forget the door sticker and just ask for super duty pads and they will fit,but don't ask for lightning pads or you will most likely end up with regular1/2 ton f-150 pads.

I just called up my napa dealer and they don't have those pads for the F250 super duty. Is that right or what, I like the idea of less brake dust.

Can you find out what the part number is???
